these few days, the weather has been having mood swings.
one moment rain, one moment sun.
and this afternoon, the weather was throwing tantrums again.
likewise, i didn’t think much about it.
little did i know that the rain got so huge that it caused this:
ps: see the first picture! that is me! inside the yellow circle! i’m on the internet! -_- edited: on second thoughts, it’s too small to even notice that circle. LOL!
anyway something to add.
the ironic thing about this whole freak of nature is the particular house that the tree fell on.
few years ago, something happened at that house and hence the owner decided to build it like the istana.
put spikes on the wall, change the gate, put CCTVs at the car porch, attempted to make the house look so protected.
and well, they succeeded in deterring any burglars or terrorists or trespassers.
but who ever expected that nature got them so easily. lol.
moral of the story? never fight nature cos u sure lose one.
PSPS: i went out with qazim ytd and we had quite an adventure!! haha. to find out more, pls visit www.bluemocha-.blogspot.com
LOL!! too lazy to blog. hahaha.
mj is dead but he’s already a legend long before he’s dead.
i’m not a really crazy fan of mj but it pisses me to see the media discussing about those controversies about him.
at one instance, u see his music videos playing on air and then in the next instance, u flip open the papers beside u and there they are discussing whether he’s innocent or guilty to molestation charges.
come on, don’t be retarded.
when you die, i’m sure that you would like people to remember your good deeds and your achievements, instead of the bad things that u’ve done.
for the record, mj has the highest charitable involvement(a phrase i came up of my own) in the world compared to any other celebrity.
anyway, i suck at explaining at words so just watch this video:
R.I.P mj
ps: i seriously don’t understand what’s the big deal about MPs in singapore.
the SAF is jinxed by something i suppose.
just when we thought that last year’s NSF’s deaths were enough, a few surfaced this year.
this, being the latest:
Soldier collapses and dies after run
Fri, Apr 17, 2009
AsiaOne
A Singapore soldier died this morning after a mass run.
Master Warrant Officer (MWO) P. Jegathesan collapsed at about 8.30am today after completing a 3-km mass run at the SAFTI Military Institute Sports Complex, according to a Mindef statement.
This is the second death of an SAF personnel this year.
The 45-year-old was taking part in the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) Commanders’ Sports Day when the incident happened.
He was immediately evacuated to the SAFTI Military Institute Medical Centre where the doctors tried to resuscitate him.
At 8.45am, he was sent to the National University Hospital (NUH) and arrived at about 9.15am.
Two SAF doctors and a medic continued their attempts to resuscitate him en route to the hospital. MWO Jegathesan was pronounced dead at 9.49am at NUH.
He was the Chief Warrant Officer of the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) Air Combat Command’s transport group.
ok everybody in the SAF, please listen up.
please take care of your bodies and fitness and we hope that such an incident will not occur this year.
it’s our responsibility to take care of ourselves!
what a goal by ronaldo!
though he has this gl bin and cocky face, he does know how to handle the ball with his feet rather well.
i didn’t manage to catch a snapshot of the goal
but it was a long-ranged goal from midway between the half line and the semi-circle of the penalty box.
porto lost their captain, luchon, due to an injury.
and apparently, it was due to a slip while he was kicking the ball.
the commentators (cheena ppl because i was watching the match using tvu player – on the channel “Shanghai Sports”) kept saying that the field was slippery and kept laughing at players as they slipped while trying to kick the ball (e.g. andersen, ronaldo,..).
it’s entertaining at first as u hear things u nvr hear before while watching soccer, but it gets a little bit irritating when the commentators go “好球!” so many times.
at one point, the commentators even said something like “maybe porto purposely increased the power of their sprinklers to make the field more slippery so as to make the man utd players slip – thus affecting their performance.”
=.=
show u a picture of these 2 jokers:
ok 2nd half underway!
GO RED DEVILS!
btw, arsenal leading 1-0 against villarreal (aggregate: 2-1)
