I am going on a journey tonight.

I am gonna miss going out with the guys on weekends.

okay, gonna go pack my stuff already.

A typical day in my life..

“Ring!!!” the alarm clock rang.

I woke up.

went back to sleep again.

woke up, sat up.. then went back to sleep again.

(repeats 5 times)

then finally i woke up and went to brush my teeth, washed my face.
After that, i went back to my room, then ‘plonk’ i went face flat into the bed.

Dora came and woke me up then i started mumbling some words like ‘help me put in container’ or ‘can u help me ____’ (i’ve no idea what i say)

FINALLY, i climbed out of bed.

then after i changed liao, i took a look at the time and then at my hp.

ORD LO!

hahahaha. shiok man.

i was too happy to fall back into my bed again.(but partly it’s cos i’m no longer attracted to the bed after a certain timing of say 06:15)

So to celebrate my ORD, i opened my tupperware of honey stars and starting tossing them one by one into my mouth.

With my right hand in the tupperware, my left hand was switching on the macbook(with my right big toe switching on the power switch below my table and my left leg vibrating periodically to confuse mosquitoes)

then, “RING!!!”

It was coming from my phone.

OH CRAP.
it’s my alarm.
but didn’t i off it already?
I checked and realized that i’ve snoozed it only.

(then zi xuan suddenly fell ill and reported sick and got mc)

Sigh. it’s quite saddening to watch the 9pm drama on channel 8.

One mistake, no more turning back.

In our harsh reality, even if one does not commit a grave mistake like contracting AIDS by being promiscuous or just being careless with infected needles/syringes (which i don’t know how), a second chance may not be given.

haha trust me. it makes sense.

Though time never stops for anyone as you can see the second hand keep ticking away every second(废话), but if u think about it as each second passes, time is still there.
It’s something that’s there whether obama’s the new president elect, or team singapore has achieved a silver medal in the beijing olympics or even when poh zi xuan fractured his ankle.

can anyone (who is as intelligent as me) understand what i just said?

a little update

It’s been quite a long hiatus since i last blogged.
I’ve tried to keep it updated but it seems that everytime i started typing something, i would realize that there’s no point in me posting up an entry here.
(i just realized there’s really no point of this entry. hahahahha)

By next week, it would be 1 year more to ORD.

At work these few weeks, life’s getting more and more sian.
I realized that working in SAF is simply a retarded thing to do. I’m referring to those DXOs.
DXOs are non-uniformed personnel who work in the SAF as clerks and other admin personnel.
They have to follow the regimental stuff in the SAF and follow stupid rules and regulations.
and worse of all, kena arrowed here and there by people who simply do not want to do their work.

I’m not pinpointing any regulars cos i think they are already loser enough to sign on.
(note: those who really have an interest in SAF and regimental style of working, you are not loser don’t worry.who will ever blame anyone for pursuing their own interest)
There are those who sign on and yet are not diligent in doing their work.
They simply sign on to get the regular pay (which is quite good because gahmen very rich) or rather to put it another way, they are people who are too hum to go out and work in the outside world.
In the SAF, u got rank u win. Hence those lao jiao who have been in service for like god knows how long.
But when u go to the outside world and work, even if u are a manager or a newcomer, it doesn’t really matter this much.
As long as you are able to show that u are correct or damn pro at office politics you are able to shut a manager up.
In the SAF however, it’s an entire different matter.

Everyone in the decisive force should stick to one golden rule.
Never take too much initiative and never be too intelligent.
It’ll just result in more work piling up.
And if you happen to screw it up, some people might just mark you with a big fat cross (no matter how well you have performed your tasks before).

So to those who wants to sign on (this is not applicable to scholars or RSAF personnel, because signing on for these people is rather shiok. not gonna elaborate on why)
please re-consider again.
And to those who are slogging their guts out for a few miserable thousand dollars/month when you can get a better HR or office job outside, i suggest you to consider drafting up a resignation letter.

With all this said and done, given the financial crisis now, not many people would do that then so be it lor.
I am just bored and these thoughts have been on my mind for quite a while so why not just share it.
