Munching on DELFI VANILLA WAFER STICKS

anyway, i can’t think of a title and hence the random and make-no-sense title u see here.

hmm. i have a sudden urge to blog so let me start from last weekend.
lol.

haha on saturday, i went for sean’s church anniversary dinner and wow. there was alot of people.
got so old ones, got so young ones.
and guess what? i went with baby.
haha and it turns out that everyone was super friendly especially the group of girls – yanshan,yy and yiwen.
the food i would say was okay only la. but the company was great
AND there’s a bbq at yiwen’s house this friday! woo.
hope baby will recover by then to eat her fav bbq food.

On sunday, i went to sentosa with baby.
and it was her first time sitting that sentosa express thing. haha.
there was a hell lot of people.
maybe cos its the start of the school hol.s and it’s a sunday.
we went walk walk around.
took the skyride, walk some more, walk on the beach, see people play volleyball.
then walk some more across the bridge at palawan beach.
then finally we settled down at a cool spot under the trees.
haha.
Had lunch at vivo cos it rained super heavily in the early afternoon.
in the skytrain, we were laughing at those people on the skyride. HAHAHA. all of them sure get soaked from head to toe one, not mentioning their belongings. lol.

And after that i realized that actually she wasn’t feeling well in the morning liao and yet she still went with me to sentosa =(
but well.. a bowl of porridge and a surprise appearance by me did bring a smile to her face again =)
haha.

thats a summary of the weekend for me.

then yesterday, i went for lunch with my parents at ichiban sushi at Esplanade.
Then i think i ordered too much food cos at the end of everything, i was feeling super FULL.








Haha. and the good thing about eating with my parents?
i’m not the one who picked up the tab. lol. haha just kidding. and of course the company of them.

OH and handoko’s a big fat liar.
i told him i lunching with his mel then he played along with me and he actually said he was at city hall with his dad (i was on my way to city hall mrt via citylink)
then i actually believed him leh. i was thinking: yes. can go chill with my dear handoko.
then it turns out that he’s lying to me cos he said i lied to him about lunching with mel.
i really believed him leh.
lol. haha stupid handoko.
and so i went to get 2 tix for sex and the city for the night show.
And after much strolling and urban hiking, finally it was 6pm!
i went to baby’s office to fetch her.
on the way to the mrt station, we saw Lee Hsien Loong sia.
he was on his way to TTSH (Tan Tock Seng Hospital fyi)
i think he’s going to see his mum? cos his mum like got some medical problem or what if i remember correctly.
he smiled at us and baby asked “why he never wave?”
lol.

and so we reached Lido just in time for the movie.
and we saw this guy who looks super familiar.
he’s jiang jia xi (after much discussion, we decided that its the older brother we saw, not cheng xi)
we bumped into him like 3 times before and after the movie and each time we were looking at him. i’m sure he must be thinking: why i keep bumping into these 2 weird people. HAHA.
he was with this girl, and they watched sex and the city too.
haha.
the movie’s okay and i think baby likes it cos she was like saying she wants to go borrow the book to read. lol.
i like both the movie and the company. haha.

Lost at Home

I can say that i’m getting more and more bored of staying at home. (note that i didn’t say i’m getting sian of being on mc. it’s two separate issues)
haha though there’s SAT in about a week plus, studying for it can’t possibly take me the whole day.
Luckily there’s baby to accompany me online throughout the day and the guys to play dota with me when baby goes for lunch breaks. lol.
The snacks and tidbits that i’ve been munching on are the same everyday, so sian one.
then the websites i go to online are the same too – www.nba.com, www.youtube.com and www.hotmail.com.
and occasionally i will keep visiting the same blogs over and over again. Nobody seems to be updating a lot and when they do update, they suddenly type one whole chunk of words then i also lazy read liao. haha.

anyway handoko just smsed me to say that he’s enlisting on the 12th june.
hope he’s not lying to me. I TRUST U HANDOKO.
omgwtfbbq. so coincidental right? (influence from pong to use “omgwtfbbq”. he even use this when he’s talking to me one time, not only in blog or msn sia)
my mc ends on 12th june.

I’m not promoting my bday is on the 12th june,

but what i’m trying to say is that my mc has been extended to 12th june! WOOHOO.

anyway, today i went to the doc and as usual the waiting time at CGH was super long.
longer than any movie i’ve watched in the past few weeks.
In the end, when it’s finally my turn, the doc asked me to go downstairs for x-ray.
SIAN. queue again.
then finally, see the doc and he finally said “so u need any mc?”
OF COURSE la shi ma. thats the main point of me coming to see u. hahaha.
then he still thought i’m schooling and i’m some sec sch boy boy. When my dad told him i’m in ns already, he gave the super shocked expression.
Do i really look that young? hmmm.

and yeah, i told the doc that i dont want to come back to CGH on my bday, so i arranged my next appointment on the 13th lor. which means my bday’s on the 12th. which is just nice the day my mc ends and so i’m not trying to tell everyone my bday’s on the 12th. my bday only ma. nothing important one really.

So my mc is extended for another 3 weeks, that means:
more time is able to spent at home studying my SAT.
more time is able to be spent with my frens and family.
more time is able to be spent with my baby.
TEEHEE.

hmm. surprisingly i’m not feeling tired despite sleeping only a few hours this morning at 5.30am.
maybe later i’ll blog again.

i think this is like the most intense soccer match i’ve ever watched (though i slept thru 2nd half and extra-time)
The game was 1-1. with 2 goals being scored in the first half so i didn’t miss any goals. i’m good.
Then the halftime break came and my bro and i squeezed onto my bed. LOL.
AND somehow, i woke up in time for the penalties. and it’s really JUST in time that kind.

Ronaldo missed the first penalty shot by either team at the 3rd attempt.
And it was 4-4, with terry to take the last penalty.
the captain of chelsea. and he hit the shot wide.
In the end, Anelka is the one who missed, his shot got parried away by Van Der Sar.
6-5 to MANCHESTER UNITED
(i wanted to make it sound more exciting one but i’m sure the feeling of reading this blog post cannot beat the feeling of watching the penalties at 5.30am in the morning)

And then, the rest was history liao.
and Ronaldo was super emotional. lol.
OH. did i mention? drogba got sent off towards the end of extra-time.

in the end, it was the two people who led their team to where they are now that miss the penalties. Ronaldo and Terry.
Well, life’s fair i must say.
They have had their fair share of glory and highs this season. Just that Terry will go away feeling more a loser than Ronaldo.

The penalties kinda made me more awake than i previously was.
Maybe i should just stay awake for another 2 hours and be like a zombie for the rest of the day.
hahaha.
i think not. i go and sleep now. AND hope that i can wake up at 8.30am.

the day the mc ends (again)

my mc has ended.
And tmr i’m making a trip down to CGH again to see the doc.
And i’m hoping that i get an extension in my mc.
I want more time to study for my SAT. haha or not.
But really la, my ankle still in great pain when i try and walk. So running is totally out of the question too. How to serve and protect the freaking nation like that? LOL.
Ya lor. so i really hope the doc gives me an extension so i can continue resting and recuperating from the fractured ankle.

Now i suddenly feel like there’s a lot of time cos i’m waiting for the man u-chelsea match to start.
My bro’s staying up with me to watch cos he got no sch on thur and fri due to some e-learning thing. so cool sia. vj never had such stuff before.
no wonder mj soccer guys will win vj soccer guys 2-1.
and my bro was describing to me how the whole match went.
haha he was gesturing and everything and he said that there’s a no.7 ronaldo in vj’s team. lol.
from what he described to me, i think vj deserved the win more than mj. Nevertheless, i think it was a good game so the result shouldn’t be all that it matters.

anyway, i’m feeling damn tired and everything now.
and the match is only starting in like 1 hour’s time. so its…
DOTA time. LOL.
OH DIE. i just remembered that there may be a chance that i’ll be talking to the doc tmr in a semi-awake mode but who cares sia.

i watched this show with my dearest teerapong.
haha. honestly right, when the show started, i was like “oh shit.”
but turned out that the show’s okay la.
not very bad.
But if i’ve thought of playing pool before buying the tix, i would go and play pool.
haha.

anyway i went out to meet the guys today.
CPL Wee liao leh someone.
then this corporal still lied to us he watching movie with 2 guys when there are girls watching too la. cheeky fellow.
went to eat ajisen ramen in ps.
Then proceeded to play lan at meridien shopping centre again.
The first game of battlefield 2 i thought i was damn ownage, then i realized i was anyhow playing.
haha but nevertheless, it was fun la.

Wilson pangsehed us for his frens, and han pangsehed us for his family.
so in the end, left me and pong on this romantic date.
we had dinner.
and then decided to watch a movie.
He wanted to watch this and that but all i watched before le. LOL.
and so we watched SPEED RACER.
this super cool movie that i think some girls would just watch it cos of Rain.
and i still think rain not charming or handsome leh.
teerapong or me can just thrash him flat.
LOL.

now handoko talking to me online.
i think he jealous of me and pong. AWW. too bad.

Baby Love

I haven’t blogged in quite a while and I think that it is time to blog again.

Yesterday was my 1 week anniversary with baby.
I was damn blur when she first told me but I knew it lor, not that i forgot or anything. haha.
anyway, I met her after her tuition and we took train to city hall.
She was on heels and I still made her walk and walk all the way to Esplanade. sorry =(
and baby was damn excited cos we’re going to sit the singapore flyer. hahaha.
So we reached there and there were like so MANY people.
there were 2 queues. 1 is the ticketing booth and the other one is the information counter. Surprisingly the queues at both booths were equally long.
I wonder what questions do the visitors have for the information counter.
“err. the flyer inside got toilet not?”
“got air-con?”
“got free gifts?”
LOL. okay. i’m just joking.
haha. and this flyer thing right.
got 3 types of tickets. 1 is the normal one.
1 is the express boarding one (supposedly let u jump queue and get on the flyer faster than anyone else)
1 is the cocktail one. as in i think they serve u cocktail while u are in the flyer.
the price difference between the express and the normal one is around 22 bucks and the difference?
u get to go first in the security check and go all the way in front to board the capsule first. damn cool right. damn worth the 22 bucks lor seriously. U only have to queue like everyone else for quite some time and still, u see the same things as the rest who paid 22 bucks less.
Of course, we got the normal ones cos i think it’s damn stupid to pay for the express ones.

After getting the tickets they gave us this brochure that contains many coupons that got offers for the shops there. like free dessert, free pizza and discounts, but of course they come with some terms of conditions. We decided to eat at Jalapeno’s Pepper, a seafood and steak restaurant. And baby kept on thinking that it is a jap restaurant for some reason. haha. damn cute la she.
then, we ordered this seafood baked rice and 2 desserts, 1 is free that comes along with the baked rice using the coupon. and ordered this chocolate mocha drink.

The desserts look damn nice but we have tasted better desserts elsewhere. haha.
But the presentation of the food very nice so must say.

We tried taking a photo and this is the photo with the best lighting out of all the rest of the photos we took in the night cos my camera was sent for repair and we can only make do with her hp, but it doesn’t have flash =(
Having no camera was like the saddest thing last night cos can’t take nice pictures.

While eating, we were laughing at the people outside, need to queue so long.
then after dinner, we went out and realized that the queue was in fact even LONGER.
haha but well, the waiting didn’t felt long at all cos of her.
this singapore flyer got this special photo-taking booth just before anyone board the capsule.
(if until now, u reading this does not know what capsules are, they are the cabins that contain 28 people each located on the circumference of the singapore flyer. lol)
in the end, we didn’t purchase the photos though i think they would serve as good memorabilia.
we took some photos in the capsule but the lighting was so bad that i gotta edit them a bit here and there.
still feeling quite a pity that we had no cam last night. hai. sad de lor.

anyway, the view from the top was awesome.
the expressways, the lights, the buildings.
I think in the day, the view would be less spectacular so if u ask me, i would recommend those who are planning to sit the flyer to go for the night one.
But, the most important thing is the company u have with u (and i had the best company i could ever ask for last night. haha)

After 30 mins or so, we are brought back to ground.
we hang around at the yakult rainforest garden and walked walked.
Then we spent some time at the rooftop garden at esplanade where baby can finally let her poor feet have some rest.

I miss the 3

Yesterday i went out with han, wil and pong.
It’s been so long since i went out with them and yeah i can’t deny that i don’t miss them.
Sounds so gay right? haha but heck la.
I met them at bugis in the late afternoon.
Then we took bus to esplanade, walked to marina square.
All these travelling in search of my photo printing services (i wanted to print something and frame it up to give my mum as a mothers’ day gift. mother’s day or mothers’ day i dont know)
Then went play arcade awhile.

Throughout the whole outing, the 3 of them keep talking and talking non-stop sia.
haha really talk about anything la. But this ”anything” is highly classified and confidential so i cannot say here.
i said the 3 of them cos i “chap” in now and then to say some things.

Then wil went for dinner, han went home, me and pong had dinner at HDB Hub.
We chatted alot.
It’s been quite a while since i had such a long chat with him.

Then we met again at 10pm to play lan.
Went home at around 2am ++
Then nbf called me and i’m glad she did

AND the moral of this blog post is that zixuan miss going out with these 3 good frens of his.

HELLO!

It has been quite a while since i last came here.
I’ll try and make this post worth reading but no promises.

today’s the 10th May 2008.
10/2 = 5 = the 5th month of the year = may
2+0+0+8 = 10 = the date today
5 x 2 = 10 = the date today too

cool right? an observation i made yesterday.
So 10th may is actually a nice date =D

Yesterday I went to watch vjco concert with nbf.
Met quite a lot of alumni people.
Saw Jolie. (some1 told me she got funny hair but i nvr go and notice) She turned 19 yesterday.
Saw the rest of the vjco pple, like joel, flora, daphne (couldn’t recognize her at first cos she was wearing contacts), esther, sizhao and i think that’s all.
It was quite a successful concert la i feel.
When i left vjc, mao called me to tell me got cupcakes for me.
Cupcakes that got my name on it. The juniors made it (but i dont know who are they) and though i didn’t see the cupcakes la. but i felt super touched la.
they so nice.
I think i’m gonna miss vjco.
It’s not cos i miss playing erhu but it’s the people there that really matters.
For my 6 years in chinese orchestra, the people there have always mattered. and they are the sole reason why i would even continue playing the erhu.
It’s never about chinese orchestra. It’s always about the people.
Though at times, i was DAMN ENTHU about perfecting my erhu skills but they were short-lived.

To not bore u all with details,
the night ended off on a happy note

Anyway, i was talking to sizhao yesterday and i realised that from nxt week onwards, a lot of my frens in sispec will start getting $550/mth.
And i will still be getting $399.50. (my nbf very nice, kept reminding me its not $400 but $399.50)

Just when my mc is ending, I’m getting busier and busier.
SAT Reasoning Test coming in less than a month.
I got 3 exercises to do daily. (as instructed by the physio)
I want to take the BTT.
I still haven’t started studying for my GP (studying for GP includes reading the newspapers and the piles and piles of TIME magazines on the table in front of me)
I have to accept the offer by NTU soon.

Actually it’s a longer list but i’m too busy to type out everything.
