So one day i suddenly wanted to listen to michael jackson’s songs.
i went to search for the thriller video and then my search goes on from there.
MJ was once that high up. that high. but now, he’s like dunno where is he now.
quite sad la. But he will still be my idol.
Still remember how i listen to his music last time in primary school and watched this movie of his repeatedly on the tape cos i recorded it.
(i say until like MJ’s dead liao. LOL i didnt mean to sound like that one)

anyway one of my fav songs was smooth criminal and for 10 over years and so, I didnt know what the heck he is singing in that song. He’s like some jay chou in the song.
and when i google on the lyrics just now, wow. i must say im surprised at the lyrics.

i did something terrible yesterday.

I watched this stupid movie called Daredevil on channel 5 last night and didnt support Earth Hour.
I didnt tell my ah ma to switch off the lights while we’re having dinner at her place.

BUT
i didnt use my macbook at all lor

okay la. probably its cos i left it at home.

Apart from this random confession to wordpress, i went to popular today.
got this sudden urge to draw and sketch.
hope this urge will last till tmr.
i’m sure it will =)

wait till i master sketching pple’s portraits then muahaha. i can show everyone that i’m not actually a guy who knows how to play dota but actually talented in arts too lor.
just wait and see.

on a saturday

What do people usually do on a saturday?

anyway, tell u pple a fact abt me. i dont like reading.
i dont know why also.
but for example if what im going to read is like abt movie reviews, nba news and some showbiz news, i would read everything, not missing a word.
But if u ask me to go and read stuff like the world news, the search for MS or even the tibet china thing going on(dont even know whats happening) forget it man. i read the headlines then i throw the papers aside liao.
How am i going to do well for GP like that. SAT also. i should go and read those books that got standard one, then SAT can do better but i’m not doing so. haha. maybe cos my leg like that go library very inconvenient.
my mum just threw another issue of times on my table. (i just conveniently stack it up somewhere. haha)

okay that’s rubbish.
i still can go and watch movie ytd
haha. watched shutter. somehow, i feel that its not as scary as the original thai version.
its kinda sick too, some of the digital effects the director put into the movie.
I noticed something abt these horror movies that got the jap elements in it.

1. the ghost always got long hair, then always black one
2. the brave character who goes and look around for the ghost is generally portrayed by an actress
3. the movie sure got wooden stuff one (e.g wooden floor, wooden cupboards)
4. the eyes of the ghost always big big one (or is it only megumi? the ghost in the show shutter)

enough of the movie.

then wenwen and I met yonghong and his marist frens at gelare in PS.
he saw me and got so excited that he dashed out of gelare.
i immediately stunned there. as in really stunned.

that’s the highlight of the day. my ass. haha.

anyway, my mum’s been complaining that i’ve been watching too many movies these days.
actually come to think of it, still hai hao lor.
P.S i love you, step up 2, the leap years, august rush, shutter in 3 weeks? or even shorter.
haha.

okay back to this sat morning, which is today.
i woke up quite late at around 10.30am.
then i was online already.
until now lor.
actually this routine has been repeating for almost 1 mth plus?
(random thoughts that should not make any sense to anyone else including me)

i just want to get a new jacket now.

KOBE

quite a few people have been asking me what breed is my dog?

well i’m going to answer the question here.

Kobe (my dog’s name) is a mixed breed. His parents are Shetland Sheepdog and Silky Terrier.
dont know which one is the father or mother though but i guess it doesnt matter.

and 9 mths later it’s gonna be xmas eve.
and 9 mths later there’ll be less than 365 days to ORD.

something about class outings

Today i went for two class outings.
actually u cant really consider them class outings according to a fren of mine who told me that,”less than 10 pple u still say class outing. group outing la”
group outing then. same meaning cos both got the ‘outing’ word.

It was quite a tiring day i must admit.
walking around with crutches is not easy okay.
sometimes i really missed walking with 2 legs.
Then today i went to watch Step Up 2 (again. but this time in the cinemas)
the online better sia, got subtitles then can catch what they say.
But im still impressed by the last dance in the rain.

Honestly, i feel that class outings always similar one. not only for my class la.
when everyone meet, then if there’s no fixed plans or not everybody is there yet, its really quite difficult to get things done.
even simple stuff like buying tickets for which movie nearly got me damn frustrated. (dun worry, u can only see the MOST FRUSTRATED zixuan when he’s playing games)
when we finally chose to watch at cathay, we went to look for a place to eat.
Once again, we hang around then finally someone moves, then everyone moves.
it’s the same for dinner.
if nobody takes the lead, nobody will do anything.
Well true right?
then everyone will just answer qns with replies “anything lor”, “up to u all”, “i dunno eh”, “[heard someone say sth] aye that one good”

Having organised class group outings for many times, i’ve realised another thing too!
(im still yellow mr happy)

i’m always the guy who listens alot.
haha. i guess i’m just a guy with few words.

Today meeting up with the 6/1 peeps is a good example of that.

Seeing them after such a long time is really amazing la.
but at the same time, i realised that i really dunno how to start talking. its like there’s nothing to do.
and if someone else starts talking, its usually the same people.
u try to say sth, they may be thinking: err. im talking to him/her, can u see? (continue with their convo after taking some effort to reply u)
then again, i may be thinking too much.
the music at timbre was good.
i like my snowball drink.
the ambience is nice. i was sitting there and listening to good music and my frens talking.

(the main point of what i’m talking about up there is that i’m not a good talker)

Infantry Recce Trooper FTW

he’s trying to change my posting for me. who in the correct state of mind will ask a guy still in crutches to go and report to camp in FBO. and to march with the infantry?
lol. but i’m on mc la. so that’s another thing.
and if u dont get what im saying, that’s another thing too: u dun really have to bother.

i researched abit on this vocation.
sounds interesting but i think very chiong la.

here’s what i found.(for interest sake only, then u read)
The reconnaissance element is a vital element to any formation’s plans. You will be at the forefront to actively sniff out enemies.

You will be required to observe enemy movement while remaining undetected; for if you are, poo really flows… I’ve experienced this a few times, this job is definitely not for the weak hearted.

Sometimes you will get surprised by the enemy. Most of the time, it is your partner, whenever you are on reccee.

But you will be with three more guys whom you most probably would know more about than you would of yourself. You would know their sillouettes so well that you don’t even need all passwords… You would know what colour underwear they wear, what time do they love to nap, and most importantly, what kind of canned food they bring outfield.

First, you would be sent packing to your vehicle course, which would either be for the class 2B, or class 3. For class 2B, your precious transport is the Yamaha motorcycle. You would sweat buckets under the hot sun with helmet, elbow, knee and shin guards, but the instructors are very nice people.

For class 3, you would find yourself playing on your PSP for most of the time, but the instructors would strangulate you for the slightest mistake. Trust me, my platoon mates hated their instructors.

After you get your licence to drive, you will be sent packing to go for the licence to observe over at SMI. From there, you would realise how fun hell actually is…

Lectures follow lectures… Then it is to the parade square where you do your MOI, accompanied by lots of sweating and endurance.

Later on, you would also go through infiltration lessons teaching you to sneak in and out of places without being detected.

It is tough, but rewarding. The times at SMI were ones I would never forget. Like how the entire platoon overslept once after many days of 5-hour sleeps, and we all fell in. Nobody said anything, including the commanders (whom were guilty of it too ) We silently marched for lesson, and that episode was quickly forgotten…

I was wondering ever since the start of j1 of what i want to do.

And maybe i’ve come to a decision. 
a 99.9% sure one.

so that’s sth off my mind,
but apparently, there’re still things i’m thinking about.
Not anything specifically, but just things lor.
the future takes up quite a huge portion of the things.  

Anyway, i was looking at photos of recruits POPing then i felt that it’s kinda wasted.really wasted in a sense that i can’t pop with the guys whom i’ve been thru tough times for the past 2 months. some of whom i’ve even forge friendships which have the potential of lasting quite long. (i’ve a history of not being close to my frens. dunno why. just look at primary school and secondary school frens. not that i dun want to but just cannot)

i’m not really that disappointed about not making it to OCS and that i may get posted to some freaking retarded unit that requires u to be scolded for no rhyme or reason.

Anyway, it’s over already.
what for being disappointed.
Moreover, it’s GOOD friday man. supposed to be a good day. i will just be as happy as yellow Mr Happy

Later going out with jc frens to watch step up 2. nice movie. the girl chioer than that in step up. the last dance in the rain was imba.

then at night meeting peter and the rest of the 6/1 peeps at timbre. some place that i have never ever heard of in my life. but i think its some restaurant cum bar kinda place. never been to such a place before cos i’m too guai already. only know how to go restaurants like swensens and crystal jade. pls do find the link urself if u can’t, i’m not gonna help.

to end it off, life’s pretty happening and hip at the moment. to the max sia
